FOR 40 YEARS ISOLTECH HAS MADE OF CELLULAR CONCRETE AND THE TECHNOLOGY FOR PRODUCING IT, THE FULCRUM OF ITS BUSINESS.

Used since 1951 in the USA and a few years later in Europe, cellular concrete is a fluid and light concrete which contains bubbles of air, uniformly distributed in the mixture, in the form of foam produced by a foaming agent. Introduction of air in micro-bubbles into the concrete matrix, gives the final product properties of high thermal and acoustic insulation. The foam, mixed with water, concrete and sand in measured proportions and in different types of quality, allows for a large range of applications; from flooring sub-strata, to pavements, to terrace suspended layers, non-autoclaved blocks and other types of product created in different sizes and quantities.

HOW IS CELLULAR CONCRETE OBTAINED?
Cellular concrete is made up of a formula of water, concrete, possibly sand and an appropriate foam. This particular insulating foam, made up of air micro-bubbles, is fixed into the concrete mortar, thus obtaining an extremely insulating material, light and economical. Cellular concrete does not require expensive and energy consuming production systems such as furnaces or autoclaves.
Cellular concrete or cellular concrete is of a recognized tradition which makes it topical because of the marriage of its various properties which has made of it a perfect material for conforming with Standards and the new building construction tendencies requiring a focus on energy saving, environmental sustainability, use of renewable energy and the use of natural materials.

APPLICATIONS FOR CELLULAR CONCRETE
Cellular Concrete, thanks to its technical particularities, offers ductility and multiple possibilities for use.

Direct pouring on site:
With different densities according to need, it is used as a base for pavements in civil and industrial construction, parking places, airport runways, foundations, sub-strata for pavements, terrace suspended layers and filling natural cavities and structures poured in situ.

Prefabbricated:
It may also be used in the form of various types of blocks (insertions, masonry and seismic infills) and various types of pre-fabricated structures;
